WHAT WE DO
The Greater Bay Area Healthcare Association (GBAHA) is committed to promoting high-quality medical and health services across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Through building platforms, connecting resources, implementing projects, and organizing activities, we provide practical support to medical institutions, enterprises, professionals, and community residents — advancing our vision of “A Healthy Bay Area for a Shared Future.”
Our Three Core Focus Areas

1
Cross-Border Healthcare Platform
We operate the Greater Bay Area Cross-Border Healthcare Platform, streamlining medical access and resource allocation. Through policy alignment and green channels, we ensure seamless, high-quality healthcare for residents across Hong Kong, Macao, and the mainland GBA cities
2
Resource Connection & Project Implementation
We connect 800+ professionals and multiple institutions to drive 20+ projects and support 30+ GBA clinics. From facility development and equipment supply to charitable aid, we streamline cross-border referrals and medical-elderly integration to enhance regional healthcare access and quality.
3
Exchange Activities & Professional Development
We organize conferences, summits, institutional visits, health seminars, AI workshops, and community free clinics to promote knowledge sharing and industry collaboration. These training and networking platforms for healthcare professionals and residents better understand preventive care and cross-border medical services.
Our Innovation and Signature Initiatives
These projects stem from close collaboration with medical institutions, enterprises, and communities, delivering more accessible and higher-quality healthcare to GBA residents.
Health Innovation
Promote the health innovation in medical insurance, diagnostic support, and patient management, exploring new digital health models in the GBA.
Policy Advocacy
Participate in discussions on cross-border medical insurance interoperability and assist in optimizing cross-border settlement mechanisms.
Charitable Services
Through our volunteer network, conduct health education, charitable assistance, and community free clinics, and bring new medical facilities to community in need.
