The Greater Bay Area Healthcare Association is a non-profit organization registered in Hong Kong. The association aims to promote medical and health services in the Greater Bay Area, and to provide medical and health services to business units and assist in various projects.
ABOUT US
The Greater Bay Area Healthcare Association (GBAHA) is a non-profit charitable organization registered in Hong Kong in 2018 (under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance). The Association is committed to promoting high-quality medical and health services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), connecting medical and healthcare institutions with premium collaboration resources, facilitating industry exchanges, and drawing national and international attention to the development of the healthcare sector in the GBA.
Since its establishment, GBAHA has actively responded to the national strategy for coordinated healthcare development in the Greater Bay Area. We have built cross-border healthcare collaboration platforms, assisted medical institutions, enterprises, and professionals in implementing various projects, and enhanced the accessibility and quality of medical services across the region. To date, we have served over 10,000 patients, connected more than 500 healthcare professionals, advanced over 20 medical projects, and supported 3 clinics in the Greater Bay Area — realizing our vision of “A Healthy Bay Area for a Shared Future.”

Mission: To promote and improve healthcare services in the Greater Bay Area by providing quality, accessible medical and health support to individuals, families, and business units. We assist in the implementation of various healthcare projects and empower professionals to deliver the best possible services, creating a positive impact on the communities we serve.
Vision: To become a key bridge and driver in the GBA healthcare sector, achieving co-construction and sharing of premium medical resources among Hong Kong, Macao, and the nine mainland cities, and contributing to the development of a world-class healthy bay area where every resident can access high-standard care regardless of location.
OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2018 in Hong Kong, GBAHA was established to address resource gaps in cross-border healthcare cooperation amid the national GBA development strategy. Over the years, we have evolved from a platform builder into a dynamic force organizing annual conferences, institutional visits (such as the 2025 visit to Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Hospital), policy discussions, and initiatives in AI-driven health insurance innovation.
In 2024, we were interviewed by Guangdong Television to share our vision for GBA healthcare development and have established strategic partnerships with multiple medical institutions and industry associations.
